Have you ever not been able to meet ends with the amount of words letters or even sentences needed to write a paper or an essay? It is always difficult to have certain amount of words or letters in an essay. In this writing I will show you some ways to meet ends with words and if you are a paragraph or so short of the required.
My personal least favorite assignment is an essay in which you need a certain amount of words to complete it. Here is a list of ways to fix the problem of you coming up short on the amount of words-
You can always restate the question or statement you are asking in your answer.
Restate the points you gave in the body.
Research and find out more information on the topic to write about.
Go back and check if you connected words or shortened sentences.
Make the sentences in the longest form possible so you will have more words.
Another problem is when you are asked to write paper many pages in length. Here are some ways to make the paper longer to meet the page limit-
Me sure the title is in big bold letters across the top of the page.
Make the margins just big enough to where it is not obvious what you are trying to do. The bottom of the page is best to work with.
If possible you can put spaces in between lines.
If possible make the font size larger.
Use as few "word shortenings" as possible, such as do not say isn't, say is not.
Put your thoughts in the paper, meaning write your opinions at the end of sentences.
State the name and date at the top right or left of the page to take up a few lines.
If there is a paragraph minimum and you are short then here is a few more tricks-
Make a conclusion paragraph restating what you talked about in the writing piece.
Use the minimum amount of sentences you are allowed in a paragraph and put the rest into a paragraph that follows.
I have tried all of these tricks and they do work at making your writing meet ends.
When I say "if possible" that means if you are allowed to do what ever I stated.
Some of these tips may get you into trouble with a teacher.
